Description:ResponsibilitiesActs as the highest technical expert for applications: Responsible for establishing design methodology for the IT application function Leads Business Process Modeling and Architecture Responsible for integration with other functions to improve IT services Acts as "Design Manager" on critical projects and is responsible for the overall design and construction activities during the implementation of the project Supports the definition of the Enterprise Architectural Framework and other global procedures. Responsible for technical review of daily operations within IT functional area. Responsible for interoperability of technologies and solutions. Identifies means to improve the qualities and efficiencies of IT processes, systems, and results. Develops, reviews, and recommends technology standards as it relates to the applicable IT functional area. Researches, develops, maintains, and communicates architectural standards and strategy relating to systems. Leads and recommends new or alternative technologies with respect to enhancing operational effectiveness and reducing costs aligned with strategic and functional IT objectives. Participates in projects to ensure the designs are consistent with the overall architecture and to ensure that standards and best practices are being observed. Has design authority and approval on decisions with respect to the functional area. Requirements: Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration Working knowledge of Health, Privacy and Financial regulations as they apply to the bio-therapeutic industry. Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in developing andimplementing complex enterprise systems Demonstrates a strong ability to look at the big picture while architecting solutions buthas the ability to delve deep when needed as well Mature development practices experience (CMM-lv3, RUP, etc.) Experience with coordinating onshore and offshore teams Experience with international project deployment across multiple countries. Broad Application development / implementation experience desired such as: CRM experience Web / Portal Technology experience Data Warehousing experience, SAP BW, Oracle-Siebel BI Reporting Tools like Cognos / Business Objects R&D applications such as ClinTrace, Perceptive 3 to 5 years of experience in Siebel technology ? Siebel Pharma ? implementing at least 2 full lifecycle implementations (a must). Siebel 7.8 or later certification ? highly desirable Experience with Oracle-Siebel Analytics required- entire OBI life cycle utilizing all 3 tiers of OBI technologies: BI Presentation Services, BI Server, data tier. Strong Siebel knowledge and experience is a must: Siebel Configuration including: Business Components, Views, Applets, Roles &Responsibilities, Workflow, eScript and Assignment Manager, Data Migration,EAI/EIM, integration objects, working with Middleware such as Tibco, Webmethods, MQ Series interfaces and enterprise integration using web services/SOA, integration error handling, performance tuning, integration concepts (real-time, batch, sync/async), WSDL, XSLT, Workflow andAssignment Manager, Actuate; Planning & executing data conversion and eScript
