Candidates in this position can expect to be involved with the following objectives in this role:

Lead the maintenance & enhancement of the Global SAP SCM environment.

Provide management, implementation and enhancements to Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), and PPDS (Production Planning Detailed Schedule) and other pertinent SAP SCM needs.

Provide leadership to project teams responsible for development, maintenance, and enhancement of SCM systems.

Collaborate with many stakeholders to identify requirements, assess available solutions, recommend options and implement solutions.

Share knowledge of best practices and business processes to drive to the best solution from a people, process and technology perspective.

Candidates are expected to actively develop/enhance their SAP knowledge through training, networking and participation in SAP User Groups.

Candidates qualified for this role will have the following knowledge and experience:

Candidates will have have a comprehensive understanding of SAP SCM including DP, PPDS, SNP, TPVS, and CIF including the integration with other functions in R/3 or other SAP applications.

Candidate must have at least 6 years experience implementing SCM solutions. As a team lead, individual would organize, plan and execute projects from vision to implementation.

Candidate should have strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Individual should have a thorough understanding of the main business processes in Supply Chain, preferably in a North-American and UK setting.

Individual must have strong communication and project management skills. Candidate must be self-motivated, take initiative and to able to work in a team-based global environment. He/She must be able to operate at strategic level, yet still be hands on enough to design and develop solutions and to guide team members.

Minimum qualification requirement: Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification.

Candidates with prior consulting experience specific to SAP SCM/APO or that have operated in a global SAP COE environment are highly desired.

Experience with Event Manager and Portal is a plus.
