Project Controls Analyst
Smartlink, LLC currently has an immediate opening as a Project Controls Analyst in Syracuse, NY. The Project Control Sr Analyst position will be assigned to either a role in Planning/Scheduling or Cost Engineering (or a combination). The successful candidate will be under minimal supervision, the individual competently performs all aspects of planning/scheduling and/or cost analysis in accordance with Division and Program processes, procedures, and established best practices. Also may provide some supervision and/or guidance to less experienced project control personnel.

Responsibilities Regarding Cost Engineering Include:

· Lead the Project Cost Control team in the preparation of baseline cost control deliverables, tracking of actual costs, assessment of productivity, and accurately forecasting cost-at-completion in accordance with program guidelines and best practices

· Recognizes issues and advises Commercial Director and National Director on matters affecting project execution

· Interfaces with project team to identify issues

· Supports proposal efforts as assigned

· Leads the Change Management program

· Ensures systems are in place to know work status and identify issues proactively

· Interfaces with field management team to identify issues

Responsibilities Regarding Scheduling/Planning Include:

· Leads the Project Control Planning/Scheduling team in plan and schedule preparation, update, and forecasting in accordance with program guidelines and best practices

· Interfaces with subcontractors for planning and scheduling activities

· Ensures constructability is part of the planning process

· Recognizes issues and advises Commercial Director and National Director on matters affecting project execution

· Interfaces with project team to identify issues
