The blockbuster games we enable are now a cultural and business phenomenon - surpassing even Hollywood movies and other forms of entertainment in terms of reach and sales. Our team delivers programs and services to multiple organizations and is currently expanding to include business ownership and management of the Xbox 360 XDK offerings to publishers, game developers, test houses and internal teams. We are looking for a Program Manager who is strong in business relationship management and process management to own and drive this specialized Xbox hardware and services program towards short-term solutions and long-term success. The ideal candidate is proficient at determining business opportunities while streamlining current programs and is excellent at working with multiple groups and organizations to streamline efficiencies. Required Skills Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, or related industry experience 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Process Manager, or equivalent Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Access, Microsoft Project, and PowerPoint Experience with Excel pivot tables and analysis of large quantities of data Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven self-driven initiative Demonstrated ability to partner effectively across organizations & with externals to get things done Demonstrated ability to prioritize requests and manage projects to meet target delivery dates Proven ability to understand new business areas to identify and document business requirements Critical thinker with excellent judgment and ability to solve problems in ambiguous situations Strong listening, advisory, collaboration, analytical, and design skills Strong interpersonal skills including influencing/negotiating effectively at all levels of management Duties and Responsibilities Gather, track, and validate business/system requirements Drive the project forward daily along multiple parallel tracks across organizations Project tracking through updates of estimated work remaining, bug report/work item tracking Develop and present project status updates to leadership, including weekly status reports Manage time and set priorities and deadlines appropriately Design and document process and information flows within and across functional areas Drive delivery of automatic metrics collection for the business, team processes, and product quality Assist in or drive clarifying scope across business processes and functional areas Identify holes in the existing program and identify opportunities for future deployment Work with multiple teams and organizations to define and deliver the future state of the development kit business Build out a scalable program to meet the needs of game developers creating entertainment on Microsoft platforms
