Come join our team and be part of the mobile device revolution! Windows Mobile Devices Team is looking for strong IC Feature PMs with a proven track record of specifying, releasing and delivering platform capabilities in the business productivity user or Mobile Internet user space

Working in alignment with BPU, Mobile Internet or Consumer Messaging goals you will drive a fast-moving virtual team that is focused on shipping phones, working with Operators (T-Mobile, Verizon, etc) and OEMs (HTC, LG, Samsung, etc) on a daily basis and by contributing to growing our PM team skills. You can count on shipping signature experiences and phones every 6-12 months, and see them being used by your friends and family or in paper/TV advertisements! Examples of focus areas for Mobile Internet include the browser, media, touch and XAML. Examples of focus areas for BPU include knowledge of Systems Center Mobile Device Manager and or security features such as SDP. Examples of focus areas for the consumer messaging space include Bluetooth, SIM, OMA DM etc.

In this role as program manager your primary responsibilities will include:
Familiarizing with and designing for your customer segment
. Familiarizing with OEM and operator channel requiremens
. Working with product planning
. Delivering feature specifications on time for AKU releases

The successful candidate will have
Love of mobile technology!
. Experience in the design and spefcification of Windows mobile features
. Proven functional specification and design skills
Excellent communication, and problem solving ability
. Bonus points given for creativity

Ideally you'll have the following advantages too
5+ years of experience in the PM role driving projects end-to-end
Strong customer awareness and empathy. Experience with MO and OEM's welcome.
Proven track record developing and specifying core platform features test and release cycles
Ability to work independently and drive issues to closure
. BSc in Computer Science. MSc preferred
