The EC Program is an extension of the Ground-based Mid-course Defense (GMD) program that currently consists of three planned sites in Europe for the missile defense of Europe and the United States. Individual will serve as primary focal point and coordinator for PP&S support to EC contract team & customer. Job responsibilities include serving as primary security advisor and subject matter expert to EC Program Director & staff on all aspects of security support to ensure EC planning and execution success. Position will have dotted-line matrix reporting relationship to EC program. Responsibilities include planning, coordination and execution to ensure completion of required EC security tasks by multi-discipline PP&S team. Individual will lead interdisciplinary collaboration effort to ensure successful execution of EC security effort. Candidate will lead interaction with EC team, Government Customer, and coordinate task/project completion by PP&S team during transition from proposal development through EC design, construction, component integration, checkout and eventual delivery to the customer. Position requires preparation and presentation of briefing materials and interaction with Executive leadership. Travel required, including foreign travel, and potential short term temporary assignment. Other duties as directed. Position requires project management, acquisition system protection and working knowledge of security disciplines, including Physical Security, Information Security, Communications Security, System Security, International Security, Personnel Security, Industrial Security, and Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense. Position requires working knowledge and experience implementing DOD 5200.1R and DOD 5220.22M compliant security programs. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
