Yes Date Posted 09/18/2008 Closing Date [link removed] (Things you should know about closing dates) 12/15/2008 Position Description Integrated Scheduling currently has several challenging opportunities available at the St. Louis site for individuals with a background in Project Management, Program Planning, Program and Network Scheduling. Leads the preparation, development and coordination of complex integrated plans and schedules to meet all business offers (i.e., acquisitions, proposals) and project/program execution objectives. Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers and partners. Develops and improves methods and approaches for risk and opportunity analysis, critical path analysis and network logic modeling. Advises and recommends integrated scheduling best practices, processes, techniques and tools to management. Oversees deployment of approved recommendations. Leads the integration and schedule impact analysis of complex and/or multiple schedule changes. Recommends, deploys and monitors configuration management standards of integrated program plans and schedules. Independently identifies project resource requirements, integrates and directs multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Collaborates with others on the most complex projects assigned. As an enterprise role model demonstrates ability to direct, delegate and ensure performance of assigned responsibilities and tasks as a project team leader in support of enterprise wide or extremely complex large-scale projects. Identifies and resolves any issues to ensure the successful completion of the project. Technical [ + ] Critical Path Methodology Advanced/expert knowledge of critical path network methodology (e.g., logic, relationship/interdependency, early/late, start/complete, minimum duration). [ + ] Earned Value Management Advanced/expert knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application. [ + ] Proj Management Theory/Concept Advanced, expert knowledge of Project Management theory, concepts and principles (e.g. theory of constraints, critical path methodology, project risk management, triple constraints, project scope management, project management lifecycle etc.) contained in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK[R] Guide). [ + ] Proj Sched & Resource Mgmt Advanced/expert ability to plan, organize and direct the creation of comprehensive multi-tiered project schedules for significant organization, enterprise, and business unit projects. Advanced/expert ability to identify time frames for key project milestones, ensure alignment of sub tier activities for overall project visibility, tracking and completion, direct and manage more complex project schedules requiring interfacing with multi regional or international activities, independently identify project resource requirements, and integrate and direct multi project elements into a single collective overall project plan. Advanced/expert ability to collaborate with others on the extremely complex projects assigned. [ + ] Risk Assessment Methodology Advanced/expert knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and tools to update and develop mission essential lists/minimum equipment lists (MEL). Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
