Description:Being a part of the project teams who create and implement our new learning solutions. In this role, you will research, access, design and develop asynchronous/synchronous programs, implement e-learning and technology-based classroom/non-classroom curricula, as well as provide software instruction and technical support to internal clients.Responsibilities Participate on project teams to Implement e-learning and technology based classroom and non-classroom solutions. Use web development tools and collaborative technology to research, access, design, develop and implement asynchronous and synchronous programs Provide software application instruction and technical support to internal clients and project team members Communicate with graphic and instructional designers, analysts, testers, trainers, and users to gather, communicate, and document technical information. Assist with the recommendation of the appropriate application of technology learning services to support departmental and company business strategies. QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: 1. B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited College or University, preferably in English, Education or Computer Science. 2. Requires one (1) to three (3) years experience developing technical, computer software or business training programs, procedures, on-line reference, or e-Learning solutions in the insurance, financial services, computer training industries. Experience must include designing and implementing new training programs, procedures, reference or e-Learning solutions (as opposed to revising existing programs). Knowledge: 1. Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT, Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes E-mail/Calendar, Microsoft Internet Explorer, mouse and keyboarding skills. 2. Requires strong knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, usage, and systems technical writing style and techniques. 3. Requires knowledge of adult learning principles. 4. Requires knowledge of e-Learning methodology's and tools (such as, asynchronous and synchronous). 5. Prefer knowledge of Web development tools (such as, Lectora, Flash, HTML, Captivate). 6. Prefer knowledge of collaborative learning principles. 7. Prefer knowledge of Information Mapping methodology. 8. Prefer knowledge of training, insurance claims processing, financial systems, or computer software Skills and Abilities: 1. Requires strong PC application skills 2. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills. 3. Requires the ability to research, design and deliver PC class content. 4. Requires strong interpersonal and presentation skills. 5. Requires good leadership skills. 6. Requires the ability to research, design, develop and implement web based learning solutions. 7. Prefer web instructional design and graphic skills. 8. Prefer ability to handle project based work and activities. 9. Prefer the ability to develop workflows and business procedures. 10. Prefer ability to read programming and/or HTML code.
