Position Description
Position is to support the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program in Ft. Greely, Alaska. Position will provide quality support for Hardware/Software Quality in support of operational, development and sustainment activities, provide construction and field support, hardware and software audits including verifying configuration control is properly maintained. Create and maintain site quality processes and procedures and ensure they are followed at all times. Provide support to on-site supplier activities to contract quality and program requirements. Provide direct support to on-site customer representatives. Experience with Material Review Boards and extensive experience with root cause and corrective action processes. Ability to work under minimal supervision. Some travel in support of other sites may be required. Both permanent and temporary assignments are available. Permanent assignment relocation plans may include relocation incentives, allowances, and benefits based on eligibility with Delta Junction being the preferred community. On base housing, single and shared, may also be available. Temporary assignments are also available and include a variety of incentives, allowances, and benefits including per diem, periodic company paid travel return to home base trips, and on site housing.

Education and/or Experience

Other Job related information
Prefer previous experience in DOD large scale integration programs and experience at remote sites. Desire American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Manager (CMQ/OE).
