We're CHANGING the WAY people LEARN. We are seeking a qualified System Analyst for our Finance group in our Monterey , California headquarters. This position will be responsible for the development of financial databases and information systems including the analysts of financial results and the training of all end users. Designs, develops, programs, installs, implements, conducts research for, and maintains internal financial data processing systems and utilities . Analyze needs, and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems by means of automated systems; develop solutions to user problems. Develops general and detailed documentation and communication drafts describing system specifications and operating instructions Required : 2+ years experience working with relational databases and SQL. Intermediate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and SharePoint Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel Good communication skills and effective follow-up procedures Capable of working independently, as well as cooperatively with others. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated success in prioritizing and handling multiple comprehensive tasks simultaneously. Detailed-oriented. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential of information. Able to travel occasionally. Desired : BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. 3+ years experience working as a systems administrator in a finance environment. Experience in an Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Lawson environment.
