Description:

A full-line electronics marketing and distribution company, providing fast and reliable service for over 30 years located in Atlanta has an immediate opening in our MIS Department for an experienced Computer Systems Analyst.

Requirements
Responsibilities Include:
? Analyze computer system requirements and develop software solutions.
? Write project specifications based on the requirements of the project team.
? Design, implement and document software changes based on project specifications using the development lifecycle process.
? Directly work with other project members of a project team.
? Plans, schedules and coordinates implementation of completed projects.
? Communicates with user departments and MIS staff to maintain the understanding of system project requirements. Communicate with Global Business Systems as required.
? Help Desk Rotation.
Required Technical Skills:
? COBOL, 5+ years, IMAGE database, HP3000 MPE operating system, SUPRTOOL
? Microsoft SQL2005 Integration, Reporting and Analysis Services
? 5 years relevant experience in business applications, including: accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, marketing and direct mail, inventory control, order processing, warehouse automation and eCommerce integration.
? Superior analytical and problem solving skills
? Multi-tasking, absolutely necessary
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
? Additional technical skills: Unix, Qedit, Adager, EDI (Sterling Gentran), POSIX, NFS, SOCKETix, FTP, GoldMine, Cognos, Visual Basic, XML
