The Project Manager will provide hands-on leadership for high-quality Business Intelligence Solutions. The solution includes extraction, transformation, aggregation, analysis, reporting and presentation of data from Manufacturing, Financial, Distribution and Customer Systems stored in numerous databases (both legacy and relational). Additional Responsibilities: - Confers with user management to determine business systems needs with prioritization in mind. - Establishes timelines and scope for implementations considering business, resource, and technical requirements to meet goals and objectives. - Acts as a liaison between corporate/division/plant computer users and the Information Technology service groups as it relates to the use of Information Technology (IT) to ensure communication and information flow. - Establishes and coordinates all system configuration activities to meet Company and Department goals and objectives. - Develops implementation methodologies and maintains project plan to meet goals and objectives. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Education: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and/or Business Administration highly desired. Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 3 years working with complex transactional and reporting systems that include Siebel, Oracle 9i data warehouse, SQL Server Data Marts and Business Objects Reports (versions 6.x to XI-R2). - Thorough understanding of the typical Business Intelligence Solution Set that includes ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, Operational Data Store, ROLAP and Data Presentation and Mining tools. - SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL experience. - Experience with data extraction and loading utilities such as OWB, SQL*Plus, MS-Access/ODBC, SQL*Loader. - Experience with large, relational databases such as Siebel. - Strong experience with formal data warehouses, OLAP schemas. - Strong experience with Business Objects 6.x to XI-R2. Other: - Must have good communication and organizational skills. - Must be able to interact with demanding business users and be able to work on an aggressive schedule, both planned and ad-hoc. - Should understand the importance of IT standards.
