You will develop, publish, and implement test plans for medium to large projects or functional areas of larger projects or programs. We will also look to you to develop quality assurance standards as well as define and track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Planning Assists with the reviewing requirements for testability Maintains an understanding of a broad range of business processes and related systems Provides strategic advice for testing solutions Collaborates with project team to define and document test cases, scenarios and scripts in alignment with business and system requirements. Assists in developing test approach and scope for system testing. Reviews test assets for accuracy and completeness. Participate in process improvement efforts Executes tests, evaluates results and problems are reported in a timely manner; assists in problem resolution (onsite & offshore) Participates in the Quality Assurance and Test Management process Understands and applies the system development and test methodology Contributes to project deliverables including test and defect plan documents, status reports, Provide daily test status of system as a part of overall test status Communicates project change impacts to team members Documents and communicates testing issues, tracking and resolution. Assists in obtaining test data and environments Coordination Coordinates with automation team to ensure proper manual/auto coverage Manages testing activities for maintenance and project assignments Provides input for testing strategies, scope and scenarios Provides input for testing-related estimates of effort, duration and resource utilization Provides input to test plans; identifies testing risks and contributes to the overall management of project and risk plans 3 to 5 years of progressive business analyst and testing experience. CSTE or CSQA certification is desirable Requires ability to estimate, plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, and execute activities. The ability to analyze business problems and propose effective solutions. Be able coordinate system testing cycle, issues tracking and resolution. Provide training, presentation and facilitation. Be able to effectively manage multiple assignments and priorities. Adapt to a variety of project team roles, such as analyst, tester, documentation writer, or trainer. Requires ability to understand and apply business vision and direction. Requires continuous learning of new skills that add value to projects and assignments. Able to deliver results on time and within budget. Requires the capacity to learn and understand the manual and automated business processes for the business units supported.
