Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience is required.

Must have three (3) to six (6) years of systems analysis and programming experience, including a proficient working knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2. This position requires strong analytical skill; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to effectively interface with end-users, customers, vendors, peers, and management; good organizational skills; ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple concurrent projects and resources, both internal and external to the company; and knowledge of current technologies. Knowledge of the health insurance industry is required, and experience with eligibility is highly preferred. Experience with Facets' eligibility application is a plus. Demonstrated leadership, analysis, design, and project management skills is required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: The Analyst/Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, creation, testing, documentation, implementation and maintenance of computer software. This includes project leadership responsibilities. The Analyst/Programmer is also responsible for the completion of various business tasks as assigned by the Information Systems (I/S) department manager.
