JOB SUMMARY:

The company is located in the state of New York, with two identical full-time positions available. Relocation assistance is provided.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience analyzing business requirements, formulating functional specifications, and implementing these specifications in a PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne 8.11, Intel/SQL environment. This person will also assist in day-to-day operational support of the system, including preventative maintenance tasks, user support, and some CNC support. At times, the candidate will be called upon to lead small teams of 2-4 people developing and installing new applications and enhancements. Specific JDE Modules supported will include Address Book, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Sales Order Management, Inventory Management, Service/Warranty Management, Contract Management, Fixed Assets, and Reporting.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Specific technical skills:
-Extensive knowledge of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne suite of modules. A minimum of 5 years of development experience at senior developer level working within a fully integrated JDE OneWorld (preferably 8.11) in a Intel/Windows 2003/SQL environment.
-Experience planning and leading major ($500k) development projects- upgrades.
-Extensive experience using the OneWorld programming toolset including Form Design Aid and Report Design Aid, programming and modifying JDE C Business Functions, testing and supporting end users and use of Object Management Workbench, Environment Management, Scheduler, Data Dictionary & Vocabulary Overrides, Table, Business View, Data Structure, Interactive Debug, Asynchronous Processing, Dynamic Link Library (DLL), Master Business Functions, JDE CACHE, Error Handling, Transaction Processing and Record Reservation, Cross Reference Facility, and JDE OneWorld/E1 API's.
-Complete familiarity with Event Rule Process Flow for all Form Types/UBE Sections, Highly experienced with Event Rule Debugger and Java Debugger, creating interfaces to third party software, data conversions experience, including the "Z-file" processing.
-WEB Development skills including experience in WebSphere-Java programming.
-Possess the ability to act independently while displaying good judgment and originality.
-Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary to lead project teams and display responsiveness and a sense of urgency to divisional and corporate staff requests.
-Demonstrated leadership abilities required as the successful candidate will guide and mentor department members.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
-7-10 years experience as a senior analyst/programmer
-1-3 years project management experience
-Must have excellent analytical and communication skills. -Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users and management.
-Must be a team player
